IBM Netherlands is looking for an Infrastructure Specialist MQ/WebSphere.

Role:

• Create MQ connections with the use of IBM WebSphere MQSeries.
• Maintain existing connections.
• Guarantee the continuity of the MQ infrastructure.
• Draw up designs according the architectural guidelines.
• Perform system testing and implement corrective actions on findings.
• Participate as a Subject Matter Expert in projects.
• Perform impact analyses.
• Execute the ITIL processes.
• Perform configuration management and maintain the configuration database.
• Solve incidents and problems related to the MQ infrastructure.
• Consult with project leaders.
• Maintain documentation.
• Perform key management.
• Prepared to participate in a stand by schedule outside office hours once every three weeks.

Skills:

• Working and thinking at a bachelor's level.
• Common knowledge of automation.
• Extensive knowledge of WebSphere MQ and MQ Clustering.
• Knowledge of WebSphere Message Broker.
• Knowledge of at least the following operating systems: AIX, Linux, Solaris and Windows.
• Knowledge of z/OS is an advantage.
• Knowledge of networking components, security and security aspects like SSL and certificates.
• Good knowledge of English (and preferrably Dutch).
• Good knowledge of Unix scripting.

Experience:

• Demonstrable experience within a comparable function.
• ITIL usage and process support.
• Experience within a complex maintenance organization.
