For our client in region Eindhoven we are looking for a Test Architect.

Hours per week: 40

There are two mission statements for this job. Each for approximate 50% of the time.
1) Integrate the deliveries of the development teams in software releases and act as support desk for all software configuration management issues in the projects.
2) Create tools to improve the efficiency of the development group w.r.t. testing and configuration management.

The holder of this position reports to SW group lead, interacts with the project lead and operates whitin multi disciplinary development teams.

The Job consist of following activities:
• Integrate software deliveries to the release domain
• Support the development teams with integration issues and software configuration manager
• Tooling questions
• Create tools to improve the efficiency of the development group w.r.t. to testing and configuration management
• Define and implement a continuous build environment integrated with ClearCase and Test automation tooling
• Define and implement test efficiency improvements (tools & processes)

Educational Level:
• Bachelor degree Computer Science

Experience:
• 2+ years’ experience as a Test Architect
• experience in software configuration management and the creation of SCM tools to improve the SCM efficiency
• Affinity with development of software tools
• be familiar with techniques like continuous integration
• Hands on experience with ClearCase, CruiseControl, Maven is a pre
• Worked as software integrator and/or tool Smith is a plus
